My original plan for my Personal Progress Project was to digitize a very large keepsake book of my grandfather's life from birth to following serving his mission for the LDS Church, in the Western States.  It was made for him by his mother.  It covers a lot of world and U.S. history as it also covers his time serving in the U.S. Navy in WWII.  As it's the only copy and it just continues to age and get's more and more fragile it seemed important to try to scan every letter and document on each page in a way that they could be preserved and shared.

Since then, however, with my Aunt Becky's struggle with cancer, I extended my project to include Honor Bee requirements and helped scan a lot of her keepsakes as a service and tribute to her.  Then I added some work done by my Great Aunt Kaye and now, just for fun, I'm adding information about my Dad's life as well.

After even the original scanning, the sharing of it was a little more complicated. I wanted it to be somewhere that was easy to be found. We tried making an album on FamilySearch, but it wouldn't hold the proper order of the pages. These gallery pages on wix have made it all easier to be shared with everyone.
